our Running sock, add a
layer of terry loops in the footbed of the outer sock, and you have the
Running Xtra. This sock is offered as a performance running or walking
sock for the consumer wanting an added layer of cushioned performance.
Though cushioned, the technology prevents hot spots from occurring as
are often associated with other “thick” socks because of the flat knit
construction of the inner layer against the foot. More consumers have
opted to move to lighter weight socks when wearing performance shoes,
while many still desire the feel of a “bit more” sock in their shoes.
