Haven’t used them yet, there for Kerry at Christmas
I bought a pair for our last Camino ,
Camino del north, our 3rd now. We walked
1000 km,.i had 2 other pairs of wright adventure socks as well. All the socks performed well in wet and really hot conditions .No blisters. The Marino escape do have a heavier seam inside at the toes, which sometimes was annoying.Needed to jiggle the sock around a bit to get comfy .For me , 186 cm and 90 kg, each pair of socks last about
1000 km. Then I get a hole in the heel on the outer layer. Why we continue to by wright socks , is because , we don’t get hot feet , we don’t get blisters ( ever) they’re comfy , and I like the colors . Adventures and escape are our go to
When I first put these socks on I thought there was going to be an issue at the seam on my little toes but ended up walking 20kms with no issues!
They work well for me. Just completed the TMB hike and the Kumano Kodo hike the Japan hike was fine in impossible humidity conditions all good
I’ve just purchased my third pair of these fantastic socks. I’ve worn (but not worn out) these comfortable socks while hiking and now when mountain biking. My feet were warm in cooler climates and cool on warmer days. I appreciate the merino wool and also the double layer effect that I’m sure has saved me from blisters. Thank you
